Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Voice Engineer to join our dynamic team in Asia. As a key member of our telecommunications infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge network and telephony systems across the Asia Pacific region. Your expertise will ensure our voice services meet the highest standards of stability, resilience, and performance, aligning with our business objectives.
  • Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy robust IP telephony infrastructure, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Trader Voice (BT/IPC), Cisco Expressway services, Voice recording systems, and Mobile Voice services.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance voice system performance, capacity, and call quality to ensure high availability and an exceptional user experience.
  • Documentation and Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for voice systems, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard the voice infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve complex voice-related issues efficiently and effectively.
RequirementsWhat You'll Need:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years in technical and voice operations within investment banking, financial institutions, or large enterprises.Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco Call Manager Configuration and Cisco Unity.
  • Experience with trader voice platforms (BT ITS) and voice recording platforms.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, QoS, and VoIP protocols (SIP, H323, RTP, SRTP).
  • Familiarity with SIP trunking and PSTN connectivity.
  • Knowledge of voice security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Experience implementing QoS for voice traffic.
  • Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written English; local language proficiency at B2 level is beneficial.
