Job Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and financial statement preparation;
- Assist in financial management, cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis;
- Manage tax filings, tax planning, and compliance to ensure legal and regulatory adherence;
- Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and auditors for financial and compliance matters;
- Participate in annual audits and financial report preparation to ensure data accuracy and integrity;
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate reconciliation and timely processing;
- Stay updated on financial policies, regulations, and market trends in the commodity trading industry to optimize financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with relevant accounting certifications (such as CPA, ACCA, CMA preferred);
- Must have accounting or financial management experience in the commodity trading industry and be familiar with international trade settlement methods (e.g., LC, TT, DP);
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and tax regulations, with excellent financial analysis and risk management skills;
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, UFIDA, Kingdee) and Excel;
- Strong communication and coordination skills, a high sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure;
- Good communication skills, those who can communicate financial matters with international clients and partners are a plus.
