About the role:

We are currently hiring for a 1-year contract position, with the potential for renewal and the possibility to convert to a permanent position.

In addition to the salary, this position offers various benefits, including:

Location: Lifelong Learning Institute, 11 Eunos Road 8, Singapore 408601

Working hours: 8.30am to 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30am to 5.30pm (Friday)

Salary Range: $4,000 to $4,500 (Depending on experience)

Certification Assessments

  • Support the standard setting process for certification assessment to evaluate the competencies of candidates and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the assessment question bank.
  • Project manage the coordination of question bank development by appointed vendors and subject matter experts, including the selection and training of item writers and reviewers.
  • Manage pilot runs of assessments and the incorporation of feedback into the final master set of assessment questions and answers.
  • Project manage the content development of preparatory materials for assessment by vendors and subject matter experts.
  • Ensure that assessment appeals are escalated to the appropriate channels and addressed as necessary.
  • Support the establishment of assessment exemption criteria.
  • Identify new and relevant technologies to enhance the delivery of assessments
  • Support the development of certification products comprising of situational judgement tests, case scenarios, other forms of competency or skills-based assessments and building capability in developing more innovative ways of developing the question bank that are AI driven in nature

Research and Analysis

  • Extract, clean and analyse assessment data to ensure quality of question item content and assessment standards
  • Interpret and present analysis and prepare regular report updates, leveraging data visualization techniques to summarise such findings, with particular emphasis on the quality of the assessment efforts.

Governance and Controls

  • Ensure robust processes are in place for the recording, storage, management, and dissemination of confidential and sensitive assessment data.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of the assessment policies and procedures to ensure fairness to all candidates.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure fairness, validity, reliability and general performance of assessment forms, to propose improvement recommendations and correct identified deficiencies
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of Assessment Guidelines, emphasising the need for integrity and outlining the consequences of misconduct.

International Partnerships

  • Support with competency framework and assessment methodology reviews with international HR professional bodies (e.g. CIPD UK, AHRI Australia and SHRM US), to maintain mutual recognition and certification reciprocity agreements, for the mutual bridging of certified candidates between IHRP and other international professional bodies.

Others

  • Undertake any other tasks or projects assigned by the Head of A&I, contributing to the overall success of the team

Experience:

  • Experience with assessments (e.g. psychometric assessments, educational assessments)
  • Familiarity with design, development and delivery of assessment questions, tools & tests
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel to support basic data cleaning (e.g. VLOOKUP, CONCANTATE, COUNTIFS)
  • Comfortable with statistical software (e.g. SPSS, Stata, Jamovi); knowledge of programming languages (R or Python) to clean and analyse data is a plus.
  • Prior experience in project management will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of statistical modelling.
  • Equivalent qualifications in Human Resource (HR) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with assessment design principles is essential.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions in light of existing conditions and constraints.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
