Job Description
1 Research and Resource
- Source for reliable local vendors for future tours/trips
- Communicate with local vendors and create itineraries for tours/trips
- Maintain good relationships with local vendors
2 Trip Preparation & Management
- Plan and create detailed itineraries for trips
- Prepare trip documents to be distributed to tour participants
- Facilitate pre-trip meetups, briefs and trainings together with the tour IC
3 Marketing and Social Media
- Design and create social media content for marketing prior to trips
- Take photos and videos during trip briefings, trainings, and trips to use as marketing collateral
- Create and post photos or engaging short-form videos on The Travel Intern’s social media channels prior, during and after trips
4 Customer Relations
- Attend to queries from potential Expeditions participants pre-trip via The Travel Intern’s social media messaging platforms or email
- Maintain cordial relationship with participants through active and prompt communication
- Watch over participants on the trips
- Facilitate the bonding of participants during the trips
5 Trip Facilitation
- Prepare trip documents to be distributed to participants
- Work together with local vendors to resolve issues on ground and create a seamless experience for participants
- Capture moments of participants on trips

Requirements
- Experienced in leading groups through expeditions and camps
- Experienced in planning, creating and executing of social media marketing campaigns
- Experience in photography, videography and editing, knows how to operate DSLR cameras
- Experience in editing softwares like Adobe Premiere Pro, FCP, CapCut, Inshot, Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- With a fit and adventurous background
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Great multi-tasking capabilities and strong organisational skills
- Creative thinker and resourceful problem solver
- High adaptability, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty
