
Production Technologist
Basic Functions:
- Responsible for performing technical tasks or series of tasks following established laboratory routines.
- Observes and records production or research experiment results, keeps detailed records; may be required to perform delicate manual techniques and make simple arithmetic calculations.
- Observes and recognizes deviations from established protocols. He/She is required to implement protocols that enhance productivity.
Duties:
- To perform day to day activities related to Western Blot production including documentations
- Equipment validation, calibration and maintenance
- Ensures compliance to Biological and General Safety Standards
- Carries out daily laboratory activities.
- Critically analyses technical procedures in order to increase productivity.
- Maintains records of experiments and tests.
- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Tabulates and records experimental data.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Ensure compliance to ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, CMDCAS ISO13485 and MDSAP (Medical Device Single Audit Program) standards.
Minimum qualification Requirements:
Ability to: Independently perform procedures relating to testing or production; adjust quickly to alternative assignments, solve simple arithmetic problems, recognize easily discernible changes in experiments or tests and keep accurate and detailed records.
Knowledge of : Technical terminology used in the laboratory, assigned scientific techniques and knowledge of procedures governing a number of laboratory operations. Good Manufacturing Practices.
Education: Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Biotechnology or Chemical Process Technology or Production Management or equivalent.
Experience:Polytechnic Graduate or 1 - 2 years of relevant working experiences
