Our client is a growing company, providing electrical, power generation and distribution solutions, offering a range of tailored products and services to customers across the region. They have been going through growth mode in recent years and are now looking to expand their headcount with a Project Engineer/Manager. They have presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Your new role
Project Management
- Manage key project phases
- Provide product service support
- Assist with design and development
Technical Expertise
- Conduct installation audits
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
- Configure e-houses settings
- Utilise diagnostic tools
- Investigate e-houses malfunctions
- Propose effective solutions
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Supervise assembly, packaging, and testing of engine and generator set packages
- Perform and conduct functional tests
- Calibrate systems for optimal performance
Documentation and Training
- Maintain accurate records
- Generate technical reports
- Provide on-site familiarisation training for technicians
- Offer remote or on-site assistance for troubleshooting and technical support
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- At least 2–3 years of working experience in a related industry
- Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel overseas (SEA) as required
