ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To assist the Management in design, project planning, construction and safety, quality management, project coordination of projects and maintenance works and to ensure smooth work progression and completion within target time and budget.
  • Will be responsible for overall project management and delivery of the project including planning, scheduling and execution.
  • Responsible for supporting all relevant sales administration and documentation such as preparation of sales quotation and proposal, follow up with sales contract and invoicing.
  • Oversee different phases of the project which includes scheduling, materials procurement, shop fabrication, estimate resources such as manpower, equipment and site coordination.
  • Prepare method statements for specific steelwork installations as required.
  • Ensure that site works are executed accordingly based on approved construction drawings.
  • Ensure project meets dateline/schedule, safety & quality standards of client’s requirements.
  • Support contract administration and handover inspections.
  • Plan manpower, tools, material, machinery, hoisting equipment, access, and necessary safety provision.
  • Resolve all site problems encountered during the constructions stage.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Specializing in Structural Steelwork and Architectural Metalwork, or Civil Engineering and Building Constructions.
  • Have experience as Quantity Surveyor with Construction Industry in preparing Cost Estimation, Bills of Quantities, Tender Documents, Quotations and Contracts an added advantage.
  • Able to understand all construction and shop-drawing.
  • Good Knowledge in MS office Word and Excel.
  • Preferable to be bilingual (English and Chinese).
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet client set deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to start work within a short notice period or immediately preferred.
