Our client is a global leader in Oil & Gas, Marine Offshore Engineering. Due to fast expansion, they are actively seeking for Marine Manager (Planning/ Operations).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain planning procedures, ensuring control over department activities.
  • Allocate tasks to planning engineers and monitor their progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Advise and monitor schedule preparation for all projects, ensuring schedules are fully resourced, identify critical paths, and align with project objectives.
  • Produce and monitor yard workload, capacity plans and space utilization on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Develop space planning strategies and overall yard slot planning for new projects, ensuring optimal use of available resources.
  • Planning & monitoring the yard overall space planning for day-to-day operations.
  • Manpower allocation to sub-contractors based on their workload and capacity.
  • Prepare planning documents for tender packages, ensuring compliance with project. requirements, review and secure full agreement on project requirements with stakeholders.
  • Review, monitor, and analyze project progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a weekly basis.
  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project timelines and deliverables, highlighting areas of concern for management attention.
  • Develop contingency plans and work with the project team to mitigate risks.
  • Mentor and develop planning personnel, enhancing their competencies, awareness, knowledge, and execution techniques.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Min 10 - 15 years of managerial experience in project planning, scheduling, and management in Marine/ Oil & Gas or similar industry
  • Experience using Primavera software, P6
