- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship or relevant electrical engineering qualification. Certification in maritime electrical systems and safety is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for electrical systems, instrumentation, automation, control systems, and HVAC (air conditioning and ventilation).
- Strong technical expertise in electrical power distribution, maintenance, and hands-on skills, with a preference for candidates experienced in oil, gas, chemical tankers, or offshore support vessels.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, including fluency in English (written and spoken), and basic proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, and Excel) for reporting and communication.
