Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Division to develop a structured approach to managing broker relationships, ensuring regular engagement with broker team leads through business meetings.
- Support broker engagement strategies for both renewals and new business pipelines.
- Assist in achieving the company’s GWP and underwriting profit targets while conducting portfolio analysis and business reviews.
- Evaluate, underwrite, and provide quotations for commercial risks in line with company guidelines and treaty programs efficiently.
- Manage facultative reinsurance placements and ensure contract certainty documentation is completed.
- Prepare renewal invitations and actively pursue renewals to maintain high persistency rates.
- Work closely with corporate finance to ensure premium collections align with the premium warranty framework.
- Handle administrative and operational tasks, including issuing cover notes, certificates of insurance, policy instructions, and preparing monthly business reports.
- Undertake additional assignments from the Division Head, Strategy Transformation Office, and CEO to support corporate objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 2–5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Experience in market-facing and distribution roles.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance and products, ideally with underwriting experience.
- Possession of a Certificate in General Insurance and Health Insurance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
