Reporting to the Regional Head of Contract Logistics, Asia Pacific, the incumbent is responsible for managing the regional business portfolio, identifying and driving business growth, and maintaining strong relationships with the customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, retain and develop a portfolio of major 3PL accounts
- Develop sustainable customer relationships through Strategic Customer Relationship Management and Development
- Be the key contact point of strategic accounts
- Identify existing key accounts and seek opportunities to expand the business scope or develop regional leads for other countries
- Manage pipeline of opportunities so as to meet the sales goals.
- Provide feedback and market information on key accounts
- Lead market profiling and corporate customer/competitor research and analysis activities to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges Drive Continuous Process Improvement
- Work in alignment with company's business strategy and objectives
- Proactively anticipate customers’ needs and provide corresponding solutions or proposal offerings.
- Analyze customer's requirements, identify root cause towards problems. Ensure the activities are being met with the company's requirements.
- Respond to corporate customer RFI, RFQ and Tenders.
- Develop effective pricing strategies to sustain profitable growth.
- Drive for results through effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.
- Ensure logistics execution activities are in compliance to Service Level Agreement to support the expected substantial profitable growth of the business.
- Negotiate commercial terms that are both competitive and in line with company expectations
Requirements:
- Degree or above in Business Management / Supply Chain / Logistics Management or other related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in key account management within Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding industry
- Hands-on knowledge on supply chain-related services, warehousing and distribution
- Resilience and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Positive mindset, and demonstrates strong strategic planning
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively across different teams.
