QA Tester (JD#10023)
We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with expertise in Selenium to work on projects for a reputed bank. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation testing, scripting, and test framework development.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- 2+ years of experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDrive and Appium;.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or C# for test automation;
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, basic UNIX commands and working knowledge on LINUX;
- Hands on experience in banking industry;
- Knowledge of SQL queries for database validation;
- Experience with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, or SVN;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow;
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) ;
- ISTQB or other QA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver or Appium;
- Design and implement test automation frameworks for web applications;
- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TFS;
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate application behavior;
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to understand project requirements;
- Generate and analyze test reports to track software quality and suggest improvements;
- Stay updated with the latest Selenium best practices and testing trends.
