
Senior Assistant Manager (Human Resource)(8042) - Alexandra Hospital
Overview*
The position reports into Manager, People Development. The incumbent supports both talent and learning functions by coordinating key initiatives, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring effective execution of onboarding programmes. Plays a supportive role on project teams while contributing to process improvements.
Job Responsibilities*
You will be responsible for the following:
- Talent Management
- Data and Coordination: Assist in collecting talent data and coordinating sessions with HODs for talent reviews.
- Logistical Support: Provide operational support for talent coaching and development initiatives.
- Documentation: Ensure all talent-related activities are accurately recorded and maintained, including safeguarding and protection of sensitive data.
- Learning & Development
- Sponsorship and Course Administration Oversight: Assist in overseeing the processing and managing of learning applications for short courses, conferences and sponsorship programmes.
- Documentation Oversight: Oversee the maintanence of records for in-service sponsorships, learning interventions, and evaluation outcomes.
- Intervention Design Support: Assist in the analysis of learning needs and the design and/or curation of competencies and learning interventions.
- Programme Facilitation: Facilitate learning sessions and interventions for staff.
- Operational Efficiency
- Process Review: Streamline and/or eliminate redundant processes whilst ensuring sufficient governance.
- Automation and Integration: Lead the implementation and integration of automation efforts to prevent 'siloed' approaches which creates more waste.
- Onboarding
- Onboarding Support: Assist with planning and execution of onboarding programmes, ensuring that documentation and records are maintained and onboarding programmes run smoothly.
- Project Management
- Project Support: Serve as project team member, contributing to learning and talent-related initiatives as assigned. May be called on to co-lead small-scale projects.
Requirements*
- Bachelor degree from a recognized university
- Post-graduate qualification in instructional design/HRD
- ACTA/ACLP
- ICF coaching certification
- 5 - 7 years of working experience in the areas of developing and facilitating competency-based adult learning and managing learning quality
- Essential competencies: Needs analysis, Designing learning intervention, Facilitation of learning, Coaching, Data analytics and visualization, Project management with agility
