Business English Trainer
Brief Overview: This position involves teaching English language skills to working professionals, focusing on improving communication in business contexts.
Curriculum Development & Delivery:
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective Business English courses, tailored to the needs of working professionals.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including role-playing, case studies, and real-life business scenarios.
- Create and update course materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
Instruction & Assessment:
- Provide clear and concise instruction on verbal & written communication skills relevant to business.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their language skills and business communication abilities.
Student Support & Engagement:
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Address student questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Encourage active participation and interaction among students.
Professional Development:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Business English teaching.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (e.g., CELTA, TESOL, TEFL) preferred.
2. Experience:
- Experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or English for Specific Purposes (ESP).
- Experience teaching Business English or working in a business environment.
3. Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Knowledge of business communication principles and etiquette.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
