- Represent as a key member of the team to focus on delivering the signaling portion of the project.
- Require to perform a variety of different tasks as the project progresses through its lifecycle.
- Being a member of the HW Design Team you will be involved in the production of the Technical Specifications of the different components to be provided as part of the technical solution as well as production of several design documents as bonding plans, cable core plans and bookwirings in line with the contract requirements
- You will also be involved in the coordination with the internal stakeholders as well as the external ones for the different interfaces with trackwork and civil contractors
- As a member of the local team, you will also be involved in technical discussions with the customer to present the technical solutions
- To plan and perform testing activities as well as assist in the implementation of all required technical solutions.
- Leading the HW Design team you will also be involved in the development of the local competencies of the team for the HW Design aspects preparing and following up on the growth of the local team with the Signalling Lead Engineer.
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, with at least 10 years railway signaling design experience in Mass Transit CBTC projects
- Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Possess a strong desire to learn, be meticulous, flexible and able to work independently and in a team
- Able to demonstrate good knowledge of CBTC principles and solutions especially on the trackside design.
- Past experience in all the stages of the delivery of Mass Transit CBTC Project including design, testing and commissioning and post commissioning support.
- Demonstrable experience in customer and operator interface.
- Demonstrable experience in interfacing with other stakeholders.
- Able to interact and communicate effectively with people at all levels and cultures, and provide timely delivery of assigned work with professionalism and quality at all times.
- Internship experience in automation systems/railway signaling companies are an added advantage.
