Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Financial System Analyst to join our team in the banking industry. The Financial System Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing financial systems/ reporting, processes, workflow, database model, UAT testing, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design and implement new financial systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
  • Develop and maintain financial models & database and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and implement changes
  • Provide technical support and training to end users on financial systems and tools
  • Perform regular audits and reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in financial systems and technology

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information technology, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in financial analysis, systems implementation, or related role in the banking industry
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., MS Access will be an added advantage)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
