About us
Logistics is divided in Production Logistics (PL) and Service Parts Operations & Logistics (SPOL). In the SPOL departments, we in charge of goods receiving and shipping of spare parts. SPOL is key function for UD Trucks. We contribute to customer satisfaction by supplying spare parts quickly and accurately. On the other hand, we are also working on cost reduction and inventory reduction as common themes of Service Parts Operations and Logistics.
Position Description - Support Coordinator (Market Support)
Market Support Coordinator is the key role that interfaces with our customers and work as facilitator within all other functions within Service Parts Operations and Logistics and is responsible for receiving orders for spare parts from each customer, coordinate the invoicing and transport of orders with related departments such as the Parts Procurement and Central Distribution Center Singapore warehouse operations, and implementing prompt and efficient solutions to meet customer satisfaction
There are various types of orders, such as inventory replenishment orders called stock orders, campaign orders, urgent orders called day orders, and Vehicle Off-Road orders called VOR orders, it is necessary to respond appropriately to each of these needs by dispatching the parts or providing the best possible information to our customers, providing the best possible Estimate arrival date (ETA).
Specifically, we receive orders through various system deployed in our sales network and control the entire process of receiving orders and shipping to our customers using our Information parts system called "VIPS." – This system is the main system used. Depending on the type of parts, some parts may not be in stock at CDC Singapore. There are also cases where an emergency to supply is required due to Vehicle breakdowns. In such cases, it is necessary to work closely with the procurement department and request urgent delivery from the supplier and cooperation from the production department. It is necessary for the Market Support Coordinator to understand the needs and make necessary efforts to the related departments to get the delivered parts to the Dealer as soon as possible. It is necessary to arrange a special means of transportation. These operations will be carried out under the guidance and advice of the person in charge of the order reception operations.
Responsibility
- Main Interface between Dealers
- Process arrangements for customer orders.
- Expedite delivery for Back Order (when parts are out of stock)
- Providing delivery date (ETA) information to Dealers
- Acquisition of information on temporary demand such as sales/service campaign parts
- Appropriate handling of urgent orders
- Clear communication, securing that Customer needs are well communicated within other departments.
Qualifications
- General academic skills such as, mathematics, and statistics required for university graduates
- Ability to understand the process and the ability to carry out work in line with the process
- Customer orientation

- WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, skill etc.
