The Director is accountable for the overall growth and performance of the Hua Mei Training Academy. The key focus of this role is to drive the training initiatives for clients / industry players to meet its vision, mission and operational goals. In addition, the role will need to develop, plan, lead and implement strategic plans, aligning with the Foundation's overall long-term mission.
Responsibilities:Responsible for the development and implementation of business plan to targeted clients, industry players and government functions.P&L responsibilities to drive profitable growth within the function.Accountable for the performance of the Training Academy's marketing, operations and development functions.Develop, implement and drive strategies to align with the Foundation’s plans and objectives and to achieve the desired key performance objectives and needs.Manage team members’ performance to achieve set performance goals through effective selection of recruits, training and development, engagement and reward system.Support, guide and oversee continual curriculum improvements.To position Hua Mei Training Academy as a leading quality provider of eldercare training in the marketplace.Ensure regulatory compliance with relevant compliance bodies.Work closely with relevant government agencies for funding and disbursement matters.Ensure the prompt / accurate submission of relevant reports as required.
Educational QualificationsBachelor's degree
Relevant ExperienceAt least 10 years of relevant experience in related fields such as healthcare, adult learning and development, community-development and programme management & development5 years of relevant experience in similar capacityP&L experienceEnjoy the challenges of new developments & community interventionsPassion for working with older persons
Salary range of $10,000 - $12,000 is indicative and will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
