LECTURER - SCHOOL OF INFOCOMM TECHNOLOGY
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of InfoComm Technology.
[What you will be working on]
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Create teaching and assessment materials, conduct lessons and facilitate learning for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) students.
Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes regular review of existing curriculum and make recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students’ learning, performance and employability.
Keep abreast of current trends and developments of technologies and emerging trends.
Handle administrative work relating to education and school / institutional and strategic initiatives.
Support School’s strategic initiatives through involvement in committee work and projects, such as Open House, process improvement projects, development, and management of new courses.
[What we are looking for]
Ability to teach courses in one or more areas of Cybersecurity, Data Science, and IT
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in related domain
Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring both youths and adult learners
Self-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple courses and projects
Proficient in at least one programming languages
