
Production Manager [F&B, Production Line, Safety Regulations, Quality Standard] - TRAN
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s goals to promote growth, innovation, and profitability within the food production division.
- Oversee and manage all operations within the food production department, encompassing production processes, quality control, procurement, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Ensure efficient production workflows by optimizing resources, managing processes, and achieving production goals, all while upholding quality standards and controlling costs.
- Formulate and manage departmental budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures while ensuring high-quality production standards and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, quality benchmarks (such as HACCP, GMP), and industry-specific standards across all production stages.
- Plan and execute complex projects within tight deadlines, which include managing supplier tenders and contracts, overseeing budget and cost control, coordinating resources, and addressing technical and production planning aspects.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of supervisors and production staff, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet both current and future standards, and foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration with departments such as R&D, Culinary, procurement, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth and aligned operations.
- Analyze departmental performance metrics, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement strategies to boost productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Identify risks within production processes and develop strategies to minimize potential disruptions that could affect output or quality.
- Support and execute all aspects of product quality and food safety to ensure that finished products meet both internal specifications and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance at all stages.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in food production management.
- In-depth knowledge of food processing methods, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, HACCP).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and guiding cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in using software tools related to production planning, inventory control, and quality assurance.
