Senior Risk Analyst
Job Description
• Assist in establishing the credit risk management framework and monitor its implementation to ensure excellent risk performance.
• Underwrite risks for Asian suppliers and international buyers, enhancing underwriting quality and efficiency through tech tools, alternative data, and innovative methods.
• Manage credit risk exposure for the designated portfolio by conducting risk assessments, monitoring counterparties, and enabling business growth with risk mitigation solutions aligned with the company’s risk appetite and credit policy.
• Explore and identify external data sources in regions like India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam to enhance underwriting and rating models.
• Engage with external stakeholders, such as funding partners and insurers, to gain support for the risk framework and ensure smooth asset distribution.
• Deliver accurate risk reporting at portfolio and country levels and complete ad hoc projects for specific areas or countries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
Job Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, economics, or related fields.
• 7+ years of credit underwriting experience in financial institutions or fintech, with a focus on SMEs.
• Experience in cross-border trade finance, receivable finance, factoring, credit insurance, supply chain solutions, SME coverage, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and analytical approach.
• Independent, self-motivated, mature, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
• Quick learner with teamwork skills and adaptability to multicultural environments.
