- To carry out regular site supervision and inspection of the electrical works/materials including any off-site production as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that mechanical and electrical works, including security systems, are constructed to required quality, accuracy and workmanship
- To monitor work in progress in accordance to Approved Master Schedules with breakdown to Monthly, Weekly and Daily programmes
- To assist the RE on daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress as per contractor’s approved program, activities, issues and resolutions
- To check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as built quantity for the variations
- To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the SO and RE.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, e.g. lighting, PA Systems, PABX, etc.
- Proficiency in CAD software and building management systems
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- In-depth understanding of building codes and regulations in Singapore
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Experience in energy management and implementing efficiency measures
- Proven track record in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of complex M&E systems
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed
