Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a strategic role in shaping our company’s financial future. As both business areas are in the early stages of development, the CFO will need to navigate financial complexities, drive strategic decision-making, and support the company’s rapid growth. The ideal candidate will hold an ACCA license and have a strong background in corporate finance, fundraising, and international financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership
- Partner with the CEO to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for AI infrastructure services and AI consumer products.
- Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and risk management to support long-term business objectives.
- International Finance & Compliance
- Manage financial operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with regional tax regulations and financial policies (Singapore HQ, China R&D, global markets).
- Optimize financial structures to support international expansion and cross-border transactions.
- Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Lead fundraising efforts, securing capital through venture funding, M&A, debt structuring, and investment partnerships.
- Articulate the company’s vision, financial strategy, and growth potential to investors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
- Operational & Risk Management
- Implement financial controls and processes to support scalability and efficiency.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with rapid growth and market expansion.
- Ensure cash flow and capital structure optimization to maintain financial stability.
- Team & Cross-Cultural Collaboration
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple regions.
- Work closely with the leadership team, fostering a collaborative approach to business decision-making.
- Manage cross-cultural financial affairs and facilitate communication between global teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- ACCA license or equivalent financial certification.
- 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in AI, cloud, or data server-related industries.
- Strong expertise in corporate finance, M&A, fundraising, debt structuring, and financial modeling.
- Proven ability to drive business growth through financial strategy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and investor relations skills.
- Experience working with startups or high-growth companies is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial software, analytics tools, and global tax regulations.
