Position: Building Maintenance Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and renew building licenses in a timely manner.
- Attend to and rectify M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) faults efficiently.
- Provide handyman services for quick fixes when needed.
- Supervise both ad-hoc and contracted service providers, ensuring service reports are accurately verified.
- Respond promptly to tenant feedback, ensuring all rectification works are carried out effectively.
- Coordinate with tenants and contractors regarding renovation procedures and requirements.
- Conduct regular building inspections, identifying and reporting defects or abnormalities.
- Assume the Site Incident Controller (SIC) role as part of the CERT team (training provided).
- Oversee the technical handover and takeover of units.
- Provide support to other sites as required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Building Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or Facilities Management.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in property management and building maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Certification as Site Incident Controller (SIC) and Fire Safety Manager (FSM) is a plus.
