Position: Building Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and renew building licenses in a timely manner.
  • Attend to and rectify M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) faults efficiently.
  • Provide handyman services for quick fixes when needed.
  • Supervise both ad-hoc and contracted service providers, ensuring service reports are accurately verified.
  • Respond promptly to tenant feedback, ensuring all rectification works are carried out effectively.
  • Coordinate with tenants and contractors regarding renovation procedures and requirements.
  • Conduct regular building inspections, identifying and reporting defects or abnormalities.
  • Assume the Site Incident Controller (SIC) role as part of the CERT team (training provided).
  • Oversee the technical handover and takeover of units.
  • Provide support to other sites as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Building Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or Facilities Management.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in property management and building maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Certification as Site Incident Controller (SIC) and Fire Safety Manager (FSM) is a plus.
