Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will assist in the successful initiation, planning, and execution of projects. This role is responsible for organizing project schedules, allocating resources, managing timelines, and addressing client concerns to ensure that projects are completed effectively, on time, and within scope. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to meet all project objectives and client expectations.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Project Coordination: Assisting the Project Manager with the planning, execution, and monitoring of ACMV systems installation and construction.
  2. Team Management: Supporting the management of subcontractors, supervisors, and workers on-site. Ensuring work quality and performance align with client expectations.
  3. Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Working with clients, authorities, and consultants to resolve issues and manage project timelines.
  4. Quality Control: Ensuring that installation works meet technical, quality, and safety standards. Conducting inspections and resolving technical issues.
  5. Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Proposing alternative solutions, troubleshooting, and carrying out necessary tests or repairs.
  6. Cost Control & Performance Monitoring: Assisting with project budgeting, work measurement, and performance tracking.
  7. Escalating Issues: Ensuring technical issues are monitored and escalated when needed.
  8. Additional Tasks: Handling other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in ACMV works.
  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of HVAC systems (CHWP, VRV, VRF) and relevant software tools.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, project management tools, and techniques.
