Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving business growth. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and secure new customers through product sampling, networking, referrals, and participation in relevant industry events and trade shows.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the HoReCa sector and retailers, ensuring sales growth and continuity by understanding customer needs and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Product Education: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to inform customers about the benefits of vertically farmed produce.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with teams in Business Development, Operations, and R&D to help shape sales strategies, product offerings, and customer experience and be an overall team player.
  • Market Feedback: Collect valuable customer feedback to improve products and services and help expand the customer base.
  • Sales Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales progress and provide actionable insights, including industry feedback, sales data, and suggestions for menu innovation and promotions.

Required qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring the following experience and skills:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, especially within the HoReCa sector and working with major retailers.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to identifying and engaging new customers.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently is a must, managing multiple priorities, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands on approach.
  • Experience with CRM software and good understanding of sales data analytics.
  • A Class 3 driving license and personal vehicle will be considered an advantage.
