Job Description – Electronics Engineer

• Design and development of analog, digital and mixed signals electronics for Public Address Systems, Intercom System and Information Display Systems

• Design, optimize and validate electronic circuits to meet design and functional requirements

• Create schematics using Altium Designer.

• Conduct FAI (first article inspection) with customers

• Prepare technical reviews, technical reports, and verification/validation test reports

• Conduct product EMI/EMC certification activities

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues

• Prepare manufacturing documents (BOM, XY, test requirements, etc)

• Support transfer of product to manufacturing vendor

• Support on-site testing and commissioning of equipment

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics Engineering with 2~5 years electronics design experience or Diploma in Electronics Engineering with more than 10 years electronics design experience.

• Knowledge of metro railway Public Address, Intercom and Information System is an added advantage.

• Good knowledge of microprocessor, digital electronics and mixed signal design.

• Good knowledge of audio amplifier circuits. Knowledge of echo cancellation is an added advantage.

• Well versed in design verification tests, design optimization, reliability tests, and root cause analysis of electronic circuits.

• Good working knowledge of EMI/EMC countermeasures, design for manufacturing and design for test.

• Good knowledge of high speed digital interface such as USB, MIPI, HDMI, LVDS.

• Knowledge of D-FMEA, P-FMEA, ECN, production process is an added advantage.

• Troubleshoot electronic circuits with oscilloscope, multi-meters, audio analysers, etc.

• Well-versed in Altium and Cadence CAD software

• Able to work well independently with strong personal work ethics and able to work with cross functional teams

• Able to work in deadline-oriented environment

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Good written and verbal communication skills
