Job Description

A Semi-Conductor Testing Equipment Manufacturer is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and markets for company’s products and services, focusing on the semiconductor, electronics packaging, and related industries.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic business development plans to generate leads, increase sales, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, OEMs, and industry stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Partnerships & Alliances: Explore and establish strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to enhance the company’s market position and expand its service offerings.
  • Lead Generation: Conduct market research and attend industry events to identify leads, trends, and opportunities in the global semiconductor market.
  • Negotiations & Proposals: Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements. Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients and partners.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and track business development activities, ensuring a healthy sales pipeline. Provide regular reports on business performance and market insights to senior management.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to ensure company maintains a competitive edge.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product development, marketing, and operations teams to align business strategies with company capabilities and ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Business Reporting: Monitor and analyze business development performance and key metrics, providing regular reports and forecasts to management.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or other advanced business certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, ideally in the semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving business growth, acquiring new clients, and managing large accounts.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the semiconductor, electronics packaging, and automation industries. Familiarity with market trends, customer needs, and competitor dynamics is essential.
  • Skills:Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.
    Experience using CRM tools and business development software to manage client relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and achieve business objectives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
