Job Responsibilities
- Curriculum Implementation:
Develop and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities in English language arts, focusing on vocabulary, phonics, storytelling, and basic reading and writing skills. - Classroom Management:
Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, cooperation, and respect among students. - Individualized Support:
Observe and assess each child's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and styles. - Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child’s development and addressing any concerns. - Collaboration:
Work closely with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities, share resources, and contribute to the overall success of the preschool program. - Professional Development:
Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings.
Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, L2 LON, DECCE-T - Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting. - Skills:Strong command of the English language.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
Patience, adaptability, and a caring attitude.
