Market Development & Demand Creation

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for cutting-edge and emerging marine electronics and Maritime solutions.
  • Identify and create demand in emerging markets where awareness and readiness are low, leveraging education, thought leadership, and strategic positioning.
  • Collaborate with other departments including marketing, engineering, product teams to develop compelling proposals which are aligned with market needs and emerging trends in maritime technology.

Business Growth & Sales Strategy

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and stakeholder engagement to deal closure and contract negotiation.
  • Develop and nurture high-value partnerships/relationships with OEMs, shipyards, government agencies, and defence organisations to drive adoption of new technologies/products/solutions.
  • Drive pricing, negotiation, and sales forecasting strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, proactive prospecting and closing of orders.
  • Monitor market developments and conduct competitive analysis to identify new market opportunities and develop effective go-to-market strategies

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in business development, technical sales and solution selling, or market strategy within the marine electronics, maritime technology with strong network.
  • Achieved annual international order of at least S$3 million dollars consistently
  • Strong understanding of marine navigation, communication, automation, or digitalization solutions.
  • Proven success in market creation, demand generation, and securing high-value contracts.
  • Existing relationships/network with shipowners, fleet operators, shipyards, OEMs, shipyards, government agencies, and defence organisations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles, influence senior decision-makers, and drive long-term adoption.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, leadership, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel globally as needed.
