About Us:
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Local Support Assistant to join our team in Singapore for flexible, on-demand support at the EBC Lifestyle Hub. This is a part-time, non-full-time position designed for candidates who can commit to pre-scheduled, flexible shifts based on operational needs.
Job Overview:
The Local Support Assistant will assist with a variety of operational tasks on-site, including shipment coordination, inventory management, device maintenance, and basic technical troubleshooting. This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time work with flexible hours and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipment Assistance:
- Prepare, track, and manage shipments to/from the data center (working with carriers like DHL, FedEx).
- Confirm deliveries and follow up with carriers as needed.
- Inventory Management:
- Perform regular inventory checks, maintain and update stock records.
- Report discrepancies or low stock levels.
- Device Maintenance & Technical Support:
- Ensure that installed devices are functioning properly.
- Assist with device installations and configurations.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues (connectivity, power issues, etc.).
- General Support & Coordination:
- Act as the point of contact for on-site support requests.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external providers to resolve issues.
- Communicate status updates on shipments, inventory, and technical matters.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Energetic & Motivated: Proactive and able to take initiative.
- Detail-Oriented: Manage tasks with precision, ensuring quality control.
- Flexible Availability: Must be available for on-demand interventions, scheduled in advance (Monday to Friday).
- Proximity to the Data Center: Ideally based near Tagore Lane, Singapore, for efficient response times.
- Basic Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT infrastructure and troubleshooting.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external service providers.
- Experience: Background in administrative support, logistics, or technical roles is a plus but not essential.
