4. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory obligations, including timely and accurate filings.
  • Monitor financial risk exposure and maintain effective internal controls.
  • Lead audit engagements and coordinate with external auditors.

5. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, promoting collaboration and high performance.
  • Support ongoing professional development and training.
  • Drive improvements through policy and process enhancement.

6. Business Partnership & Decision Support

  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to evaluate financial implications of key decisions.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to support both strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Assist with pricing models, cost control strategies, and inventory management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  • Strong hands-on experience with financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills; capable of conveying complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach across all levels.
  • High integrity and keen attention to detail.
