Responsibilities:
- Lead local and regional SC teams in APAC (Demand & Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics,..)
- Act as a liaison between Central SC in HQ and the SC teams in the subsidiaries in APAC
- Manage operational activities in demand & supply planning, order management, logistics, NPI/change projects across all subsidiaries in APAC
- Ensure implementation of central SC strategies and process standards
- Drive continuous improvement of SC processes and KPIs
- Balance Service Level and Inventory based on central strategy
- SC costs in APAC
Objectives and performance indicators:
- OTIF, DPA, DIO, Stock Cover, Supplier OTIF (calculated as per corporate standards)
- Cost targets (e.g. Distribution costs) and efficiencies
- KPI Targets defined together with by corporate Supply Chain
Main task (and project tasks):
- Lead local and regional SC teams in APAC: define targets, run reviews, develop and coach team members
- Ensure implementation of corporate strategies and process standards for demand & supply planning, order management, NPI/change projects, Logistics, etc,
- Manage SC process improvement projects in line with corporate strategies and priorities
- Driving digital technologies and processes based on central guidance
- Analyse KPIs and Identify improvement opportunities
- Define and coordinate improvement projects in collaboration with corporate SC and local APAC teams.
- Ensure and coordinate regular reporting from subsidiaries to HQ based on corporate reporting standards (e.g. KPI reports etc)
- Proactively assess, highlight and manage potential supply risks
- Build a winning SC Team in APAC
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain/operations in relevant industries preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with manufacturing and 3rd party sourcing networks
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Excellent skills in proactive collaboration and results focus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Experienced in managing remote teams
- Proficiency in English; additional languages relevant to the APAC region and German are a plus.
- Prepared for occasional business trips of up to 1 week within APAC. Overall up to 25% international travel in total.
- Possess valid passport for travel within APAC
