This individual will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of F&B digital projects, from planning, tender execution to timely delivery of digital projects. Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimise costs while ensuring quality and efficiency in F&B operations
  • Craft, manage, and run procurement tenders, ensuring a competitive selection process
  • Conduct vendor evaluations, negotiations, and selection to drive cost savings and determine the best system solution in KASM’s interest
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to secure long-term strategic partnerships
  • Develop and enforce procurement policies and compliance standards

Project Management:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for the F&B system software design road map, F&B hardware implementation, and maintenance support, ensuring alignment with business goals, adherence to timelines, high-quality implementation, and effective cost control
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Monitor and report on project progress, proactively identify and resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards

Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Technology & Data, Legal, Catering Partners, and Marketing to align on project goals and strategies
  • Handling internal inquiries and technical issues related to F&B systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of F&B solutions, systems and software
  • Analyse data to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiencies
  • Provide regular updates on procurement and project status to senior management, highlighting key progress, challenges and resolutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, IT, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in F&B, procurement, project management is highly advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience in working with POS is an added advantage
  • Proficient in inventory & procurement systems, hospitality & events management software, POS systems, finance systems, supply chain management
  • Proven experience in running procurement tenders and vendor negotiations
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading digital projects
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills are a plus
  • Experience in digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience with data analytics tools
