Job Responsibilities
• Plan and manage weekly LCL consolidations• to ensure maximum cargo optimization and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate space allocations• with shipping lines, co-loaders, and partners for smooth export operations.
• Prepare consolidation schedules and vessel planning• for LCL shipments based on cargo flow and customer requirements.
• Ensure • accurate cargo manifesting and documentation• , including House Bill of Lading (HBL), Master Bill of Lading (MBL), and relevant export documents.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to • coordinate cargo stuffing and container loading plans• .
• Monitor • cargo cutoff times, space utilization, and sailing schedules• , ensuring all shipments are timely and cost-effective.
• Liaise with overseas agents, customers, and internal teams for shipment updates, cargo readiness, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with • export regulations, shipping policies, and international trade laws• .
• Analyze shipment volumes and trends to propose • improvements in consolidation planning and cost-saving strategies• .
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience• in LCL consolidation planning or export operations in a freight forwarding/consolidation company.
• Strong knowledge of • LCL operations, cargo planning, and shipping schedules• .
• Experience in handling • export documentation• (BL, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.).
• Familiarity with • shipping regulations, incoterms, and customs compliance• in Singapore.
• Proficiency in logistics software and • Microsoft Excel (for consolidation planning and reporting)• .
• Strong • analytical and problem-solving skills• to optimize space utilization and reduce costs.
• Excellent • communication and coordination skills• to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work under tight schedules and manage multiple shipments efficiently.
