A Day In The Life
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industries
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the client base
- Conduct telemarketing, cold calling, and market research to uncover potential prospects
- Research and analyze business opportunities within different sectors
- Track and analyze industry trends and news to identify emerging opportunities and contribute to the formulation of marketing strategies.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with prospective clients
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, including corporate portfolios
- Present proposals to potential clients
- Represent the company at local and international exhibitions and events
- Prepare and present comprehensive marketing reports, including KPIs, lead tracking, conversion rates, and business development performance to management
- Maintain and manage a database of established contacts
- Build and nurture relationships with clients and prospects to foster long-term partnerships
- Generate and onboard new client accounts
- Network and establish connections at events to support business growth
- Collaborate across teams to strategize and secure new projects
- Cross-sell and collaborate with other business units to target key prospects
- Formulate and execute innovative marketing strategies to drive growth
- Manage customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Gather feedback from clients and prospects to optimize operational performance and improve conversion rates
- Handle objections effectively, providing persuasive responses to ensure successful client engagement and conversion
- Working knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools is essential to support overall marketing efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development within the MICE or lifestyle industry is an added advantage
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Energetic, extroverted, and confident in client-facing situations
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
- Excellent listening and persuasive communication skills
- Ability to converse in French is an added advantage
- Comfortable working in both independent and team-oriented environments
- Proficient in MS 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Willingness to travel overseas as required
