We are seeking to hire a Senior Associate / Assistant Vice President to support the risk Director in the assessment of global investment opportunities as well as the operationalisation of the Enterprise Risk Framework. The individual should be highly motivated and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. This role offers the unique opportunity to join a fast-growing and dynamic organisation in Singapore. You will work closely with the investment team by contributing an independent risk-based perspective as part of the investment due diligence process and performing ongoing monitoring of investment portfolio risk. You will also support the implementation of the company’s enterprise risk governance framework and policies.

- Deal Evaluation
- Work with deal teams to support diligence and underwriting for investments
- Review and test robustness of financial model forecasts and assumptions including stress testing key drivers and assessing sensitivities in various scenarios
- Review research and diligence materials, monitor industry trends, identify key material risks and mitigation
- Recommend additional due diligence and work with independent advisors if necessary
- Work alongside investment teams to track portfolio-level risk and incremental impact of new investments on risk/return distributions
- Produce risk reports/dashboards under the supervision of the Risk Director
- Help maintain Enterprise Risk Framework and risk policies
- Support internal audits which will include liaising with internal auditors and coordinating with adjacent teams
- Support crisis management exercises and periodic reviews of crisis management plan
- Support Operational Risk management e.g. business continuity, IT and cyber risk, health and safety measures etc
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related disciplines; professional certifications such as CFA or FRM a plus
- At least 3 to 5 years of successful track record as a risk professional, ideally in leading financial institutions
- Familiar with investment processes for private investment strategies
- Well-developed skills in financial modelling, valuation, research and deal assessment
- Ideal to have a strong interest in sustainability and topics relating to carbon markets, nature-based solutions and technology-based solutions for decarbonisation
- Excellent analytical skills combined with ability to work independently with can-do attitude
- Strong communication, writing and presentation skills and ability to build collaborative working relationships with investment professionals
