Job Purpose
As an Account Manager at GPJ, you’ll be working with one of our longest standing global clients. This role is equal parts Account Management and Production. You’ll foster, develop & own key client relationships, managing the whole process from A-Z, taking a brief, creating a budget & proposal, presenting to the client, and then delivering the event.
Strategic Account Management
- Interface with client’s Singapore marketing leads, owning the key client relationships and cultivating event marketing practices to exceed client’s expectations.
- Develop end-to-end campaign strategies for the client.
- Develop event performance, audience & competitive insights reports that bring value to the client's tactic planning & execution - as required by the client.
- Collaborate with the execution alliance partner on key marketing events to account manage & lead the development of strategic event plans that motivate audiences to act upon objectives.
- Optimise the application of worldwide event guidelines & resource kits, to guide the delivery of on brand client events.
- Source & leverage globally created event assets, experience ideas & best practices from across the GPJ network, that support the enhanced delivery of in country client’s events.
- Integrate with client’s other agency partners on joint initiatives that create value for the client.
Operational Delivery
- Rigorous in organisation and management, conscientious and adept in solving issues in a project
- Collaborative: With multiple stakeholders, communication and teamwork is critical
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ensure projects are consistently on brief, on time and on budget
- Accountability for the quality of projects delivered
- Responsibility for the creation and ongoing management of project timelines and plans to ensure programmes are on track
- Development and management of budgets
- Management of key suppliers, ensuring delivery of their project area is delivered within budget and to a quality in line with client and GPJ expectations
- Briefing creative and strategy teams on project requirements and ensuring that the output from these teams falls within overall project timeline
- Manage agency input into worldwide finance & procurement requirements.
- Manage financial components relating to the local execution including partner invoicing, purchase orders, change orders and final billings across all client events
About you
- Minimum of 4+ years in a similar role in an agency
- Experience in client relations and management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
