What You Will Be Working On

  • Candidate must have technical expertise in Manufacturing Technologies, Engineering best practices, and will work with key technology suppliers to drive product quality.
  • Work with manufacturing sites and field to understand Non-Conformances details for communication and follow up to closure with suppliers.
  • Candidate will develop manufacturing capabilities, drive FMEA, and implement Process Control Systems (PCS) at part supplier sites including the definition of measurement and metrology methods.
  • Support the review of SPC data for critical parts and manage suppliers’ OCAP execution and recovery.
  • Track supplier’s performance indicators against agreed-upon metrics and key performance indicators. Facilitate and drive suppliers to meet or exceed defined expectations.
  • Conduct routine Surveillance and problem resolution audits to determine their compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Provide leadership during investigations of excursions and work with suppliers to provide comprehensive reports to fulfill ASM SCAR/8D requirements.
  • Support conduct of failure analysis (FA) to determine the root cause of product failures and share findings with Engineering, Product Support and other internal and external teams
  • Develop positive relationships with suppliers and drive continuous improvement activities from lessons learnt and best practices.
  • Up to 20% business travel is expected for the role.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum a Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience or demonstrated expertise in supplier engineering managing suppliers for Machining or Sheetmetal.
  • Demonstrated expertise specific to machining or sheet-metal plus knowledge of welding will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively across geographies, cultures, disciplines, etc.
  • Driven personality with discipline of ownership of responsibilities and is comfortable working independently.
  • Attention to details and analytical thinking towards problem solving.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor equipment industry
