
Quality Control Inspector / NDT Technician
The incumbent will undertake any or all of the following and has authority for:
· Set up and verify nondestructive testing equipment, ensure meeting required standard prior to inspection/testing
· Read manufacturing blueprints for inspection requirement
· Conduct NDE (MPI, LPI, UT, RT and Copper plating) tests/examination to ensure quality or detect
· Perform welding visual inspection (Pipe, accessories and structural unit etc)
· Check/verify supplier NDE inspection process and verify/endorse NDE report if NDE is outsourced
· Perform inspection for NDE consumables products (e.g. no mixed brand)
· Perform NDE inspection for Third party witnessing as per QA plan
· Verify marking and identification of products for traceability (e.g. HT #, S/N#, SO# etc)
· Identify inspection and test status of non-conforming products that failed NDE inspection
· Verify and endorse the inspection and/or testing records
· Report, document and communicate any non conformities to appropriate parties
· Apply and interpret NDE result as per applicable specifications and/or standards acceptance criteria
· Organize and create report for all inspection/examination results
· Helper and NDE Level 1 Inspectors can only carry out NDE inspection activities under the supervision of NDE Level 2 Inspector and shall not permit to approve any NDE inspection result/report
· Interface with all stakeholders about work priorities and progress of projects when required
· Participate actively in client programs, planning and strategy sessions when required
· Review customer NDE report ensuring meeting requirement
· Report and advise stop work if operations/work environment are deem unsafe and/or incorrect
· Endorse and close work order package for retention
· Maintain 5S in work environment
· Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, security and environmental regulations
· Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,200.00 per month
