Job Summary:
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for supporting the finance and accounting functions of the company. This role involves assisting with daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Perform bank reconciliations and process payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Handle petty cash management and reimbursements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Assist with audits and tax filings as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Perform other ad hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, SAP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of GST and basic tax regulations is an advantage.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,800.00 per month
