The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company by managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. In a 4 people team, this role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to ensure financial success and support the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop, monitor, and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Oversee financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to optimize financial performance.
- Supervise and mentor a team of Accounts Executives, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Implement internal controls and processes to ensure financial accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop financial strategies that align with business goals.
- Analyze and report on key financial data to support decision-making processes across the company.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with financial software (MYOB) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experienced in financing for company.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
