Restaurant Captain/Waiter or Waitress
Job Description
To ensure the best service performed and warm greetings are extended to customers upon their arrival.
To usher customers to allocated tables in accordance to the restaurant seating procedure or customer’s preference.
To work closely with the Supervisor and Captain to ensure that the restaurant’s food preparation is properly done.
To handle phone enquiries in a courteous and prompt manner.
Ensure and maintain the cleanliness & upkeep the restaurant outlook at all times.
Familiarize with the restaurant’s activities, menu and service procedures in order to be able to obtain answer to guest queries confidently.
Build rapport with customers and be able to address them personally and extending them the optimum service possible.
Understand and strictly adhere to the rules and regulations and policy on basic food hygiene.
To be punctual and well groomed for duty at all times and name badge to be worn at all times.
To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the restaurant and all other section. To be courteous and professional in service delivery at all times and portray good communication skills.
Anticipate customer’s needs and deliver service promptly.
To refer all guest complaints to superior immediately so that action can be taken to recover the situation without delay.
