What the role is:Finance Systems Transformation (FST) is a team under the Finance, Systems and Projects directorate in the Ministry of Finance. We drive transformation of the finance function and catalyse adoption of the latest technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the ministry, as well as collaborate with stakeholders to review Whole-of-Government corporate services.What you will be working on:Key results areas include: • Partner the finance operations team to review business processes, identify and effect process streamlining, use of analytics and/or automation; • Promote greater awareness and usage of technologies such as AI within MOF, including running proof-of-concept projects and programmes to generate use cases; • Work with Customs to oversee the smooth running of eGuarantee@Gov, including the roll-out of enhancements; and • Collaborate with VITAL and functional leads to review operating models for WOG corporate services vis-à-vis best practices of large corporates.What we are looking for:
  • Keen interest in business process reengineering and application of technology to corporate services; • Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau and data analysis/processing tools like Python would be advantageous. • Self-driven and committed individual who can work independently and within teams; and • Strong critical thinking, communication and project management skills.
