Molecular Biologist
In this role, you will be part of a team to develop solutions to detect and characterize pathogens using multi-omics approach. You will:
- Design and execute experiments to investigate functional characteristics of pathogens and impact of potential countermeasures
- Analyse experimental data and communicate findings to stakeholders through reports and presentations
- Degree/Master/PHD in Life Sciences / Molecular Biology / Molecular Biotechnology
- Demonstrated expertise in extensive suite of molecular biology techniques such as PCR, molecular cloning, protein expression and purification
- Familiar with cellular and biochemical assays to investigate i) biological characteristics of bacteria and ii) anti-virulence properties of countermeasures
- Willing to work in BSL3
- Possess good communication and writing skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Motivated with keen interest in research who stays updated on advancements in biotechnology and apply new knowledge and techniques to ongoing projects
