  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Work Hours: Mon to Fri (hybrid 3days WFO and 2days WFH arrangement)

Job Description:

We are looking for a confident and skilled Backend Server Development Engineer to join our company.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of server setups, knowledge of Golang, and the capability to collaborate effectively with frontend developers, game designers, and artists.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Server Setup and Configuration: Participate in the initial server setup, including the efficient deployment of backend services. Configure and optimize server environments for both development and testing phases.
  2. Infrastructure and Architecture: Architect and implement server infrastructures, microservices, and cloud-based solutions purposeful for gaming applications. Utilize AWS (or GCP) for deploying and managing backend infrastructure.
  3. API Development: Create and develop efficient, secure, and maintainable server-side APIs. Ensure seamless integration of backend features within mobile gaming experiences.
  4. Backend Systems Management: Oversee the development, optimization, and maintenance of backend server systems for our mobile game. Plan project roadmaps and manage backlogs related to server logic, client-server communication, data storage solutions, and deployment processes.
  5. Security and Compliance: Implement security protocols to safeguard player data and maintain compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure server integrity and security against potential threats.

Job Requirements & Qualification:

  • Possess Degree in Computer Science or relevant.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Golang and experienced in backend development.
  • Strong understanding of server setup, cloud services (AWS or GCP), and gaming application requirements.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to liaise with frontend developers, game designers, and artists.
  • Problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
