Job Description
- Leadership & Strategy Development:Lead the company in developing and implementing its long-term strategy and vision.
Set clear objectives and KPIs, driving performance across all levels of the organization.
Cultivate a company culture that aligns with the organization’s values and mission. - Financial Oversight:Oversee the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure the company operates within its budget, optimizes its resources, and meets financial targets.
Identify and pursue revenue generation opportunities while managing risk and ensuring long-term financial stability. - Operational Management:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company to ensure smooth business operations.
Make high-level decisions regarding company policy, resource allocation, and operational initiatives.
Monitor and improve internal processes for efficiency and effectiveness. - Stakeholder & Board Relations:Act as the primary liaison between the company and its Board of Directors, providing regular updates and key strategic insights.
Maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, clients, partners, and government agencies.
Ensure transparent communication and uphold corporate governance standards. - Talent & Organizational Development:Lead the recruitment, development, and retention of senior leadership talent.
Foster a high-performance culture through mentorship, coaching, and talent development initiatives.
Build and maintain an organizational structure that supports scalability, efficiency, and innovation. - Innovation & Growth:Drive company growth by identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends.
Encourage innovation and technological advancement across all departments.
Champion change management to adapt to industry shifts and market demands.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CEO or in other executive leadership positions with a strong track record of driving growth and operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, strategic planning, and performance management.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and performance management principles.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to represent the company to key stakeholders and external audiences.
- A visionary with a strong business acumen and a passion for the industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Passionate about building a career within the fintech sector, is a self-starter.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have also worked in an operating C-level role for a minimum of 8 years.
