Job description

• To assist in the administrative management of a Committee of over 200 Government Affairs and Policy and ESG professionals and related working groups – meeting minutes, action items, follow up communications.

• Project management support for Government Affairs and ESG projects such as but not limited to:

  • Project management support for Govt Affairs and Policy projects:
  • Example 1: Strengthening the role of diagnostics in public health – awareness campaign and local stakeholder engagement in one or two markets in APAC
  • Example 2: Localisation/industrial policy – local stakeholder engagement in one or two markets in APAC
  • Project management support for ESG projects:
  • Example 1: Environmental regulatory dashboard: Assist in update/expansion with vendor in key markets across APAC by collating inputs from relevant committee members/stakeholders
  • Example 2: Assist in industry specific database development for timely compliance to environmental regulations.
  • Internal and external committee and working group event management: Planning and coordinating in country activation events for projects, APACMed’s Townhall events etc.
  • Research (primary and secondary)
  • Writing and communications.
  • Any other strategic projects to be identified and aligned during the internship

Pre-requisites

  • Undergraduate/post graduate student or candidate awaiting placement
  • Only candidates based in Singapore should apply
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Independent thinker and worker, who also works well within teams.
  • Able to engage senior leaders and professionals confidently
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Organised, efficient and detail-oriented
  • Prior experience in organising workshops/roundtables would be preferable
  • Prior experience in policy shaping or advocacy, healthcare or ESG policies would be advantageous

Note: This is a paid internship, 5 days a week, standard hours. Only full time roles available.
