What the role is:[Cluster's Description] The Leadership Development & Strategy Cluster oversees the Leadership and Talent Development policies and approaches at the Public Service level. We aim to achieve the following key outcomes: • Effective and high-performing leaders and leadership teams that deliver with excellence today and innovate for tomorrow • Leadership Corps with greater diversity in experiences, skillsets & perspectives • Leadership community that is united though a common purpose, identity and values These key outcomes guide the way that we identify, develop and engage senior leaders and leadership talents across the Public Service. We do so in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders such as our training partner, the Civil Service College, the HR community and leaders across the Public Service.What you will be working on:[Specific Job Responsibilities] You will be part of the team that oversees policies and frameworks relating to board of directorships within the Public Service. Your key responsibilities are: • Maintain a database of candidates suitable for board appointments. • Perform Board Secretariat functions, which includes processing appointments/re-appointments. • Collaborate with stakeholders and training partners to identify suitable training programmes and developmental interventions to equip board members with necessary skills to perform their duties.What we are looking for:[Work Experience & Competencies] An ideal candidate should possess the following: • Resourceful, self-motivated, analytical, organised and meticulous. • Effective team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment, and under tight timelines. • Takes pride in going the extra mile to achieve shared outcomes and provide excellent service. • Able to consider and integrate different perspectives to make sound and timely recommendations. • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills, able to build positive relationships and rapport with stakeholders, and identify possible collaboration areas with them. • Familiarity with board and board secretariat functions are an added advantage.About Public Service Division:[About PSD] The Public Service Division (PSD) aims to build a first-class Public Service for a successful and vibrant Singapore.
