RESPONSIBILITIES

  • B2B and B2C media relations, event management, content development, account management, and client counsel.
  • Experience in B2B, education, G2C, cause-related, and sustainability sectors is a bonus.
  • Identify, manage, and cultivate relationships with key target media and influencers to proactively collaborate on content.
  • Be independent and lead 70% of day-to-day communications on projects. Maintain clear and consistent communications between the client and account team.
  • Develop integrated communications plans for clients, including brainstorming, researching, key message development, and assisting in new business proposals.
  • Develop and execute basic internal communications campaigns, including recommending messaging, content angles, and channels for placement
  • Liaise with media to drive long-term brand communication
  • Identify industry and media narrative trends, and create content on such themes
  • Coordinate with client and other communications departments or vendors (i.e., graphic designers, brand management agencies) to develop and complete communications plans.
  • Attend networking events to increase growth in new business
  • Guide Account Executives and Interns on projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
  • 2 years of industry experience in communications, Public Relations and/or Digital preferred in an agency setting
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Great writing skills.
